Each square shows the number of calendar days remaining as of that date, counting down to zero on your retirement day. The first number in the grid comes from the same engine that powers the retirement countdown clock; every following day is simply one less.

How to use it

Print a copy for the fridge and cross off a square every morning, tape it up in your office cubicle where you'll see it during the workday, or print one as a surprise gift for a coworker who's counting down to their own last day. Add their name in the field above and it prints right into the header.

How do I print it?

Click "Print / Save as PDF" above the calendar. Your browser's print dialog opens with only the calendar grid — no menus, ads, or page chrome. Choose your printer, or choose "Save as PDF" to get a file you can email or save.

Can I make it start from a specific date?

Yes. Enter your retirement date above and the calendar rebuilds instantly, starting from the current month and running through the month you retire (up to 18 months at a time).

Is it free?

Yes, completely free, with no sign-up, no account, and no watermark on the printed pages.

Can I use this as a retirement countdown calendar gift?

Yes — that's one of the most common uses. Add the retiring person's name in the "Whose countdown is this?" field, print it, and hand it over or pin it up at their retirement party. It also works well taped to a fridge or office wall as a daily reminder.

What happens once my retirement date is more than 18 months away?

We cap the printable calendar at 18 months so it stays a reasonable number of pages. If your date is further out, we show the final 18 months leading up to it and say so above the grid — check back closer to your date for the earlier months.

Does the "Big numbers" style work for low-vision printing?

Yes — switch the Style dropdown to "Big numbers" and the day-by-day countdown figure becomes the dominant number on each square, with the calendar date shown smaller. It's easier to read at a glance or from across a room.
